Jannik Sinner’s withdrawal from the Shanghai Masters will extend his absence from the tour, but what tournaments is he still set to play in 2026?

The world No 1 is sidelined due to a right knee injury, and he has not played since beating Alexander Zverev in the Wimbledon final on 12 July.

Sinner missed the Masters 1000 events in Montreal and Cincinnati before he was forced to pull out of the US Open.

Last week, Sinner withdrew from the China Open in Beijing, where he was the reigning champion.

On Saturday, Sinner announced he would not return at the Shanghai Masters, which will get underway on Wednesday 7 October.

“Unfortunately, I won’t be able to play at the Rolex Shanghai Masters this year as I had hoped,” Sinner wrote on Instagram.
